Spiral Logistics - Project No. 2


Requested to follow through with safety adjustments.
Spec's and instruction provided by client.

Fabricate rear Tail boards / removable in three sections / 750 mm high.
secure Tail boards with chain and D shekels.

Straighten side loading pins / weld chain to pins and secure to truck with D shekels.

Weld mesh WK 2517 to front headboard and prime.
Remove rust corrosion on the  front headboard / prime with rust block and paint white.

Clean up the sides of the load-body and paint white.
Straighten three sets of steps and paint yellow.
Paint hand grab rail yellow and handles on the headboard.
Paint yellow safety strip along both lengths of the tray.

Secure timber to the load-body.




                                                     Walk around truck before start.         



  Walk around the completed truck.



Before work commencement.

Front bumper bar bent and reflector missing.


Steps bent back and fouling the tire.


 Head board rusted and bent.


 Rear steps bent.


 Rear Tailboard needs upgrade.


 Steps slightly bent.


 Tray damaged in a number of spots - see just after the wooden bearer.


 RHS steps bent towards the rear - fouls the tire.

Reflector missing RHS.

Steel Mesh welded into place - WK 2517

Steps bent back to original position and reflector fitted.

Headboard repaired - steps painted yellow.

Yellow lines painted 100 mm wide.

Headboard painted white + mesh.

Rear steps straightened and tray painted white.

Rear Tailboards fabricated and painted white.

Tailboards 750 mm high.


Tailboards secured with chain and D shekels.

Side pins all straightened out and secured with chains and D shekels.

Yellow pins and lines painted.

RHS steps bent straight and reflector fitted.
