Caterpillar Excavator goes down for an extreme job

This is another one of those shots that does all the talking for itself. This shot was initially posted on The Hard Hat Networks Twitter account and shows a Caterpillar E Series excavator being lowered into a deep ravine to commence dredging operations in a river upstream from a dam. Just take a look at the drop behind the machine; one would imagine the operator would need nerves of steel to work in that location!
