Detroit Series 60 Melt Down
Witness the sad results of over-revving a Series 60 Detroit engine. Selecting the wrong gear is the most probable cause of this disaster. Computer read out indicated that the last recorded engine speed was 4129RPM. Twice the safe operating limit.
